Muna came to Boston with their “Life’s so Fun” tour. Opening the night were Nova Twins, a British rock duo consisting of Amy Love and Georgia South. The band formed in 2014 and have since gained a reputation for their high-energy performances and genre-bending sound that blends elements of punk, rock, hip-hop, and electronic music.

The duo released their debut EP, “The 4 Track EP,” in 2016, which received critical acclaim and helped establish them as a rising force in the UK music scene. They followed up with their debut album, “Who Are The Girls?,” in 2020, which further solidified their status as one of the most exciting and boundary-pushing bands in the industry.

During the concert at Roadrunner, the duo presented us with a set of twelve songs.  Most of the songs are from their latest album drop “Supernova”. Amy Love and Georgia South’s dynamic vocals and hard-hitting basslines are complemented by a range of instruments and production techniques, including drum machines, and distorted guitars.

In addition to their music, Nova Twins are also known for their activism and commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the music industry. They have been vocal about the need for greater representation of women and people of color in the industry and have worked to provide opportunities and support for underrepresented artists.

Nova Twins have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the world of rock and alternative music, thanks to their unique sound and dynamic energy. We hope to see a headline show from the duo in the near future.
